The battery life is excellent with more than 500 hours standby time and up to 8 hours of talk time. Messaging options include the usual SMS, MMS, AMS (audio messaging), email and instant messaging all of which can be viewed easily on the 2.2 inch TFT display (320x240 pixels and 16.7 million colours). Superb engineering skills have kept the design compact and light (96g) ensuring the handset can be kept almost unnoticed in a pocket or bag.
To minimise the cost thereÆs no 3G or Wi-Fi with this model; however it does come with Bluetooth and the Nokia maps application is pre-installed. Internal memory of 55MB can be increased up to 8GB with a microSD card. The 3.2 megapixel camera if fairly good with a dual LED flash and video record at 8 frames per second.
